What do I need to do when I want to switch from Cookiebot to Usercentrics?
Overview
1. Close your Cookiebot account
Save all data and content that you may need. When you delete your account, it will all be deleted - we will not be able to retrieve it (this includes content, consent logs, scan reports etc.).
After you saved all important data, you can follow these steps, to cancel your Cookiebot subscription.
Log into your Manager
Open “My Account” (right top corner)
Click “Cancel my Account”
Fill out the form
Click “Cancel My Account Now”
2. Switch from Cookiebot to Usercentrics
As we are talking about two different products, there is nothing else you need to do to actively switch.
3. Start with the Usercentrics product
After purchasing the Usercentrics product, you will receive an email with all the information you need. Now you can set up your own Consent Management Plattform and configure it with all the relevant details.
