Why are ads loaded on my website before users have given their consent?

The ads may sometimes be displayed on your web page before the consents are submitted by users for the services on your CMP banner.

This could happen due to any of the following reasons:

Script Implementation Issue: The Usercentrics script is not added on the top in the head section of the HTML file and other scripts for Google Tag Manager, Google Ads are added before the Usercentrics CMP script.
Timing Issue: If the Google Tag Manager script, Google Ads & other Ads-related scripts are loaded before the first request is sent to Usercentrics / before the Usercentrics script gets executed.
Script Adjustment Issue: If the scripts are not adjusted according to the Usercentrics implementation guide (script type is not changed from "text/javascript" to "text/plain" and the data-usercentrics attribute is not correctly added using the name of the data processing services as defined in the Admin Interface).
