Step-by-Step guide to configure "Third-party Technologies" in PrestaShop Module
It is important to configure all technologies that you use on your PrestaShop online store which transfer data to a third-party processor. This may include visible services on the website (such as Youtube Video, reCaptcha Codes etc) and also non-visual services (such as Google Analytics, Matomo Tracking, etc.). |

If a Technology was added to your CMP and your visitor also provided consent, then that technology will be unblocked by Usercentrics CMP and executed.

1. How to add new Technologies to your CMP?
When you visit Usercentrics PrestaShop Module for the first time, you will see a number of technologies used on your shop already detected by Usercentrics (see picture below).
To see which technologies have been detected, simply click on a category (see picture below for technologies under category “Essential”).
To add other technologies to a category, simply click on the desired category (for e.g. Functional), then click on the dropdown and search for your technology in our database, and then click on “Add technology” (see pictures below).
Usercentrics maintains a database of over 1000 third-party technologies that you can simply choose from for configuring your CMP. You can ensure all technologies are configured correctly at any time by having a look at the “Third-Party Technologies” section of your Usercentrics PrestaShop Module and verify all necessary technologies are added there.
Usercentrics Smart Data Protector automatically identifies recognised JavaScript/Iframe/etc. implementations on a page and blocks them until consent becomes available for that specific implementation. This eliminates the need for PrestaShop merchants to manually customise all existing scripts for a script to be executed only after consent has been given.
Usercentrics does not automatically block all third-party technologies in our database. You can see the full list of Smart Data Protector supported technologies here:

2. Technologies on my PrestaShop online store remain blocked
Some technologies, services and content might be automatically blocked due to Usercentrics Smart Data Protector. This can be because these have not been added to your CMP or simply because consent has not been given by the end-users. Note that all technologies must be added in the “Third-Party Technologies” section so that visitors to your PrestaShop online store can give consent and unblock these technologies.
If a technology has not been added:
The message “This content is not permitted to load due to trackers that are not disclosed to visitors” means you did not add this technology to your CMP. See above how to add technologies to your CMP. In this specific example, you need to add Youtube Video to the CMP.
If the technology was correctly added but no consent was given yet, your visitors will see a message as shown above (“…Please review the details and accept the service to watch this video”) and have the option to contextually accept and provide consent. Once they accept the service, the video will be shown (see below).
