Step 1: Create the tag using the Usercentrics CMP template

Step 2: Configure the newly created tag
Now, you need to configure the newly created tag.
General configuration
On the "'Settings Id" ' field, please insert your settings-id.
On the 'Banner version', select the UC version to V3
On the "Default ‘Default Language" ' field, please leave it as it is or set the desired default language, for example 'de' for German.
On the "Enable "'Enable Transparency & Consent Framework 2.0 (TCF)" ' field, check the checkbox if you want to enable TCF 2.0.
On the "'Enable Accelerated Mobile Pages Framework (AMP)" ' field, check the checkbox if you want to enable AMP.
On the "'Wait for update" ' field, please input how many miliseconds to wait before firing tags waiting for consent, for more information please check asynchronous tools.
Defining the default consent state
To adjust the default measurement capabilities, set the default values for the command to run on every page of your site before any commands that send measurement data (such as config or event). For more information please check Adjust Tag Behavior.

⚠️ Please use ISO 3166-2 country codes for region values. For the United States it is also possible to use state-specific regions, e.g. "US-CA" for California. If a specific default consent state applies to multiple regions, you can add a comma-separated string of regions to the Region field.
Step 3: Save the tag
Choose "Consent initialization - All pages" as trigger and apply a name to your tag at the top of the configuration page, e.g. "Usercentrics". Click "Save" to create the tag.
